How exciting this year to be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Methodist Healthcare Federal Credit Union (MHFCU)!Methodist Healthcare Federal Credit Union’s charter was approved by the National Credit Union Administration on January 26, 1960. From the very first day of business, MHFCU’s purpose has been to provide quality financial services to the Associates of Methodist Healthcare. Today, 50 years later, our mission for serving our members is still the same:

“To always be responsive to our members’ financial needs
by providing personal and innovative services of a superior quality.”

While some Credit Unions have expanded their memberships by opening their doors through a community charter or to a variety of non-related employee groups, MHFCU has remained true to its one sponsor – Methodist Healthcare. While this choice may limit our size, we believe that it enables us to maintain a more personal level of service for our members.

We are excited about the possibilities that our 50th year holds. Although compliance with new regulations and dealing with a down economy continue to challenge us, we are up for the challenge. The Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, management team and employees of Methodist Healthcare Federal Credit Union are committed to ensuring that as a member, you have every reason to be proud of your Credit Union. MHFCU is a strong financial institution that has always met the savings and borrowing needs of its members. That’s how it was in 1960, and that’s how it remains today.
